A new exhibition, opened in Reykjastræti 6 on Reykjavík Culture Night, showcases pieces in the Bank’s collection by female artists.

Landsbankinn’s collection holds numerous pieces classified as national treasures, many of which are by women. The exhibition marks the occasion of the Women’s Year 2025. Sigrún Inga Hrólfsdóttir, visual artist, curated the exhibition. The exhibition is located on the ground floor of Reykjastræti 6 and is open to all between 9:00-17:00 throughout the year.

The exhibition includes over 40 artworks by 23 artists created over the span of over 80 years: Arngunnur Ýr, Ásgerður Búadóttir, Barbara Árnason, Björg Þorsteinsdóttir, Brynhildur Þorgeirsdóttir, Edda Jónsdóttir, Guðmunda Andrésdóttir, Guðrún Einarsdóttir, Hlaðgerður Íris Björnsdóttir, Hulda Vilhjálmsdóttir, Júlíana Sveinsdóttir, Karen Agnete Þórarinsson, Karólína Lárusdóttir, Kolbrún Björgólfsdóttir (Kogga), Kolbrún S. Kjarval, Kristín Jónsdóttir, Louisa Matthíasdóttir, Nína Sæmundsson, Nína Tryggvadóttir, Ragnheiður Jónsdóttir, Róska, Rúna - Sigrún Guðjónsdóttir, Tove Ólafsson and Þorbjörg Höskuldsdóttir.
