In recent years, four artists, Ásgerður Júníusdóttir, mezzo-soprano, Margrét Vilhjálmsdóttir, director, Sigrún Hrólfsdóttir, visual artist and Þóranna Björnsdóttir, composer have worked together to create various works of art based on the poems and works of Nína Björk Árnadóttir. Initially, their intention was to stage a small opera, a collage work based, among other sources, on the opera Erwartung (Schönberg/Pappenheim, 1909). Nína Björk's works entered the project as a connection to a certain atmosphere and the Icelandic poetic world. Little by little, Nína Björk took up more and more space, her poems and voice so interesting, complex and beautiful. The foreign opera still lies beneath, as well as various other works that have provided inspiration, but Nína Björk Árnadóttir's poems and works set the tone. Now the world is still expanding and an opera, a record, an art exhibition and a film are in progress, and all these works are being prepared in parallel.
