BSI Bus Terminal and Reykjavík Domestic Airport, 1997
In 1997 The Icelandic Love Corporation: Sigrún Hrólfsdóttir, Dóra Ísleifsdóttir, Jóní Jónsdóttir and Eirún Sigurðardóttir, decided to spread some love during a weekend at the beginning of August called Verslunarmannahelgi in Icelandic. A weekend of camping, drinking, and outdoor concerts all around Iceland. Dóra, Eirún, Jóní and Sigrún dressed up in their white lab dresses and headed to BSI, the bus depot, and the domestic airport of Reykjavík, armored with megaphones and handmade Love Kits. The kits included a white glove with drops of unisex perfume in apink fury heart in the palm of the glove, heartshaped red candy and a “goggur”, a paper fortune telling device, with positive vibes that were intended for the people who were on their way to these intoxicated and often violent festivals.
